Today,i came to you
not as a traveler
but as a burdened soul
searching for a place
where my pain could finally rest,

i wrapped my arms around your aged stone
and for the first time ,
the weight upon my chest
did not feel mine alone ,

i whispered every wound
i had hidden behind smiles
every dream i buried ,
every tear i never let the world see ,

you answered with nothing
only the wind
brushing through the trees
as though silence itself
had learned the language of comfort

you never promised
that life would become gentle
you simply stood ,
unshaken,
patient ,
enduring.
