An untold story
Everyone wants to get out of their daily buzz;
Because there is an untold story within all of us.
The story that we know only matter to us;
The story that is beneath all of us.
Sometimes this story we feel is beneath;
Does not deserve its place this underneath.
The story that we tell only to ourselves;
Gives us a chance to meet our true selves.
This story may not always include an internal battle;
But also the bits we feel for the people who matter.
The story that taste a million emotions;
Is often overlooked to keep the life in motion.
The story that we know will make our lives better;
Because its thought may turn into reality sooner or later.

Poem Analysis
This analysis is provided as optional literary feedback. Community voting remains the primary ranking method.
The poem explores the theme of personal narratives and their hidden significance, suggesting that the stories we hold within ourselves shape our identities and potential futures. While the poem offers a relatable premise, its artistic execution is somewhat hindered by repetitive language and a lack of vivid imagery.
Strengths
- The theme of personal introspection and hidden stories is universally relatable, as seen in lines like 'The story that we tell only to ourselves; Gives us a chance to meet our true selves.'
- The poem attempts to convey the complexity of emotions with phrases like 'taste a million emotions,' which suggests depth.
- The idea that personal stories can influence reality, as expressed in 'Because its thought may turn into reality sooner or later,' provides a hopeful perspective.
Areas for Improvement
- The poem suffers from repetitive phrasing, particularly with the word 'story,' which appears in nearly every line, diminishing its impact.
- There is a lack of vivid imagery or sensory details, making it difficult for the reader to visualize or emotionally connect with the poem.
Imagery
The poem lacks strong visual language and relies heavily on abstract concepts like 'untold story' and 'million emotions' without grounding them in concrete imagery. This absence of sensory details limits the reader's ability to engage with the poem on a visceral level.
Structure
The poem is structured in a series of couplets with no consistent rhyme scheme or meter, which gives it a conversational tone. However, the lack of variation in stanza length or line breaks contributes to a monotonous rhythm that does not enhance the thematic content.
Language & Craft
The diction is straightforward and conversational, but the overuse of 'story' and 'beneath' makes the language feel repetitive. There is minimal use of poetic devices like alliteration or assonance, which could have added musicality or emphasis to the poem.
Emotional Impact
While the poem touches on the potential emotional depth of personal stories, its lack of specific imagery and repetitive language reduce its emotional resonance. The reader is left with an intellectual understanding of the theme rather than an emotional experience.
